     Beginnings: I wanted to put my sons hockey logo and number on earrings, and gift home made charm bracelets for all the other moms on the team at the end of season party. They were a hit! I had so many requests, that Rain & Roses was born. I switched from the cutting machine and tiny pieces of vinyl, to a sublimation machine. At some point I began making pretty bracelets for gifts. That's when I really found my passion for the gemstones that I use in all my hand made creations today.

     Inspiration: I love the ocean, and living in sunny Florida with all its gorgeous water and sea creatures. Our family lived on the beautiful tropical island of Okinawa Japan for nine years with the military, and I took advantage of their world class SCUBA diving. I was born by the ocean in Santa Cruz California. So many of the designs at Rain & Roses are inspired by the sea, including elements like turtles, starfish, and my favorite color pallet of cool blues, and warm rich tones.
